GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PURCHASE
1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions of Purchase apply to all orders and deliveries between Truelove Pet, located at 2# Guiquan Road, Meiling Industrial Park, Jinjiang, Fujian Province, China 362200 (hereinafter referred to as "Truelove France" or "Truelove Pet"), and its professional customers of the online store www.truelove-france.com. The website www.truelove-france.com is intended solely for sales to professionals. Private customers may, if they wish, order the entire Truelove range from authorized retailers.
2. Ordering Procedure, Contract Conclusion, Quantity Limits
Ordering Procedure
Truelove France offers its customers a wide selection of pet products. Customers can access details about each product (presentation, dimensions, flavor, etc.) by clicking on the product or item name. When the customer selects the desired quantity and clicks on the shopping cart icon, the product is added to their virtual shopping cart.
By clicking the "My Cart" button in the online store (top right of the screen), the customer accesses a summary page where they can check the items in their cart at any time and make changes if necessary.
If the customer wishes to finalize their order, they can click the "Place Order" button. Registered customers can enter their username and password to use their saved information. The customer can also register as a new customer and create an account or proceed with their order without an account. In the latter case, they will need to enter their address and billing information on the following page. By clicking the "Next" button, the customer proceeds to the penultimate step of the order, "Overview," where they can review their order summary, including the price, service information, and delivery charges. The order is considered complete as soon as the customer clicks the "Place Order" button. A binding offer is then submitted.
Conclusion of the Contract
Product photographs on the website are for illustrative purposes only and do not constitute binding offers to purchase. The customer makes a binding offer to conclude a sales contract when they complete the ordering process by clicking the "Place Order" button. The customer will then receive an automatic email acknowledgment (order confirmation). This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of the offer. The contract is concluded only when Truelove Pet ships the ordered product and sends a shipping confirmation email to the customer.
Quantity Limit
The products offered for sale are only available in quantities suitable for professional use.
3. Price and Shipping Costs
Price
As Truelove Pet is located in China, outside the European Union, all prices displayed on the online store are exclusive of taxes. Customs duties (approximately 2.7% of the total order amount) and VAT at the rate applicable in the country of import are additional and must be paid directly to the carrier upon receipt of the goods.
Shipping Costs
Truelove France delivers throughout Europe. If an order needs to be shipped in multiple shipments for technical or logistical reasons, no additional charges will be incurred by the customer.
Customs Duties and VAT
All purchases and imports from a country outside the European Union are subject to customs duties and VAT at the rate in force in the country of import. The carrier responsible for delivery is also responsible for collecting customs duties and VAT from the buyer. The buyer will be contacted by the shipping company before delivery (by email, telephone, or mail) and an invoice will be issued. After payment of this invoice, the goods will be delivered to the buyer. If the invoice for customs duties and VAT is not paid within 15 days of receipt, the goods may be destroyed by the shipping company. Truelove Pet cannot be held responsible for late payment of invoices from carriers and cannot refund the merchandise or offer compensation if the merchandise has been destroyed.
4. Delivery
Orders are shipped within 1 to 3 days on average, depending on the day of the order (excluding weekends and public holidays), and subject to full payment of the order. Packages are generally delivered between 10 and 15 days after shipment for France, although this timeframe may vary depending on the destination country and the carrier.
Truelove France cannot be held responsible for delays attributable to the carrier and beyond its control.
If certain products are out of stock, Truelove France may make partial deliveries at its own expense, if this is acceptable to the customer.
In the event that a product is unavailable due to a delivery delay from its suppliers, Truelove France may withdraw from the contract. The customer will be informed immediately and offered a comparable product. If no comparable product is available or if the customer does not want this product, Truelove France will refund any amounts already paid. Delivery within the European Union is subject to customs duties and VAT at the rate in force in the destination country. If the items are damaged during transport, Truelove France customer service must be informed as soon as possible in order to file a claim with the carrier or transport insurance company. If the customer does not report the damage in a timely manner, this will not affect their legal warranty rights.
5. Retention of Title
The products remain the property of Truelove Pet until full payment is received. It is prohibited to pledge, offer as security, transform, or modify the products before the transfer of ownership, without the prior consent of Truelove Pet.
6. Warranty and Liability
The legislation relating to the warranty applies.
The seller is liable for defects in conformity of the goods to the contract in accordance with Articles L. 211-4 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, as well as for hidden defects in accordance with Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code.
The consumer has two years from the delivery of the goods to invoke the legal guarantee of conformity. They may choose between repair or replacement of the goods, subject to the cost conditions stipulated in Article L. 211-9 of the French Consumer Code. The consumer is not required to prove the existence of a lack of conformity during the first six months following delivery of the goods.
The legal guarantee of conformity applies independently of any commercial guarantee.
The consumer may also invoke the guarantee against hidden defects in the goods sold, in accordance with Article 1641 of the French Civil Code, and choose between rescission of the sale or a reduction in the sale price, in accordance with Article 1644 of the French Civil Code.

7. Payment Methods
Payment Methods
Products can be paid for by credit card via a secure payment system. Truelove Pet reserves the right to accept only certain types of payment, depending on the order or delivery method chosen. Payment by sending cash is not possible.
Discount Codes and Gift Codes
When using a discount or gift code, the applicable terms and conditions (such as minimum order amount, validity period, etc.) must be observed. This information is provided with the relevant code. Only one discount or gift code is accepted per order and per customer. Cash payments and offsetting with previous orders are not possible. Reselling codes is prohibited.

Truelove Pet takes the protection of its customers' personal data very seriously.
